About the Owners
Joe Goetsch, comes
from a ranching family and grew up on a ranch in rural Northeastern New Mexico. He served in the US Navy, going to Vietnam twice(62, 63) in support of the Special Forces. His specialties was nuclear weapons monitoring and weapons control systems on the USS Mauna Kea(fleet rearming ship), which involved the first computers.
He says that computers and the web is the next thing to magic and finds it all very challenging, but has mastered it without attending any classes and has not taken courses on the web. By the way, he also got his pilots license, real estate broker license(NM, CO,) insurance license(NM), is a bee keeper, grafts fruit trees, does plumbing, electrical, and builds his own houses and other buildings.
How about sports, oh forget it, its disgusting, he played with the great Dallas Cowboy "Don Perkins" at some university that had a wolf as a mascot. And now he is a Farmer!!!
Patti Goetsch grew up in Texas in the city. Coming to live in the country was a life-long dream. This former special education teacher is owner of a shop called "A Farmer's Wife" located at 608 Douglas Avenue in Las Vegas, New Mexico, where you can buy spices, jams, dried fruit, salsas, chili powder, greeting cards, unique kitchen ware, and much, much more including Native American jewelry made by some of the best crafts people in the Southwest . Patti and her staff specialize in gift baskets for any occasion, from a special single basket to orders of over a hundred for businesses and institutions.
CVF Enterprises has been a terrific solution for them to meet new challenges, and to integrate their advanced skills with computer technology and the Internet.
