Topics: How do you feel about illegal immigration? How do you feel about the 3 presidential candidates? Posted Comments: post your comment John McCain does not stand a chance against either one of these Democratic mudslingers, especially if he is not willing to lower himself and do it too. I did not like him when all of this primary stuff started but right now he is the only one fit to lead this country in a time that we find ourself in. Things may not be looking very good now but if one of those boneheaded Democrats should get in, watch out, these days may be called the good old days. The Republicans had a great opportunity the past 7 years to really get things straighten out, but they didn't and certainly the Democrats did not help them. Bald Eagle, NM 5/08/08 I am so tired of hearing all of this politico crap. I believe there should be some limit on it. Of course the news organizations would not know what to do. I know they want all of it to continue because it means more money in their pocket. All of us poor suckers just keep on taking it and in the end we really do not know who is really the best candidate because of all of the confusion. John H, KS 5/05/08 Listening to Hillary on the Bill O'Reilly program the other nite makes me really know why she is not going to be our next President. She sides with these sanctuary cities in not even trying to apprehend the illegals, with the claim it causes the illegals to not help the police catch the criminals. They are all law breakers, don't these xxmn politicians understand. Jimmie, MS 5/03/08 I like Sen. Obama, I believe he is a good man but he is being thrown under the bus by that terrible black man who calls himself a man of God. No Christian man of God would be saying what Wright has said and keeps saying. That Wright is a smart guy who figured out how he could live like a king by convincing us black folks to give him all of that money, build him a castle and then even have him paid to speak all over. The Senator needs to act very fast to save his chances of becoming the Dem. nominee and even more so of having a chance of becoming President. The Clintons will jump on and try anything to get back into the White House and this Wright matter opens the door very wide. Thank You for giving me a chance to say something. God Bless us all. Dottie T, NY 4/29/08 On this illegal mess they need to just send all of them back who can not speak English and prove that they are here on a valid visa or passport, I mean also from any place not just Mexico. They don't have the right to break in to our country, it is just like our house we can say who we invite and what reason they are in it, may it be a plumber, maid or guest. Jimmy, CA 4/28/08 Mc Cain is just sitting back and enjoying the heck out of Clinton and Obama tearing each other up. In my book he by far was not the best person to be President but at this rate he will become President by default. Joseph M, MN 4/28/08 I have to laugh, who says that race does not play a part in this dog fight between Obama and Clinton. When 90% of the black people vote for the black man, what does that tell you. Poor Hillary, she thought that she was married to the first black president, from what he said and how the blacks admired him that seemed to be true. They sure aren't following her now, her name might just as well been McCain. David, CA 4/26/08 Obama has put together the McGovern wing of the party, "the anti-war crowd, the cause people, the professoriat -- with the Jesse Jackson wing -- 90 percent of the African-American vote," but he is being pushed out of the heartland of the party, the white working and middle class. And reinforcing the impression in Middle America that Barrack is "not one of us" is the basis of both the Clinton and Republican strategies. If he succeeds and gets the nomination that fact is going to continue to hurt him. Ronald, IL 4/26/08 You know I am not against a black man becoming President, but let's get one who will be a good one, like Colin Powell. Not this guy who did not even have the sense or what it took to leave that church with that preacher who spews out hate. This Obama is a very fancy talker but when asked some tough questions he can not come up with the right answers, like the last debate. Sen Clinton on the other hand has watched her husband, slick Willy lie so much that she does not even realize she is lying and looks so smooth. JP, NM 4/25/08 I really think "Hanoi" Jane Fonda needs to give her support to McCain, that way she can redeem her self a little before she dies, after all it was some of her actions that caused some of John's fellow prisoners to be killed. Of course something like that would cause Jane to be drummed out of the radical left of which she is a part of and if there where any American prisoners in Iraq she would be over there doing it all over again. David, CA 4/25/08 I just don't understand it, almost all of the people want these illegal's stopped but next to nothing keeps being done. Don't the politicos get the message or are we going to have to kick them all out and get ones in there who do. Victor, NC 4/24/08 I am a Sen. John McCain supporter all the way. I saw on some tv news that maybe he was not in good enough shape physically to be President because he has been drawing a disability of $50,000 a year because of his imprisonment in Viet Nam. Well, we have had several of our Presidents with some kind of disability and it did not stop them from doing their job. O Dog, OK 4/21/08 These people(illegal's) cause a lot of problems in this country, schools, health, crime are just some of them. When the officials that are in charge don't really know who they are, where they are at, or what they are doing, then it turns into one big giant problem. I hope that in this coming election the public will force the Congress people to make sure that fence is built so that a only a small snake can get across. Lady J, TX 4/20/08 This country needs to flat put a stop to all of these people just moving into this country illegally. What ever it takes to stop it should be done, fences that will knock them back on their butt like livestock electric fencing, but not really hurt them and any other methods that will work, put pressure on the bordering countries to do more than they are now to help, and I don't mean helping people to sneak in. These cities that give these law breakers safe heaven should be penalized heavy for those actions, take away their federal money and I bet you get their attention real fast. Then start sorting out the ones in this country that are doing bad things and send them back to their country. The rest that are trying to become good citizens give them a year to learn English and some other critical things, if that is accomplished, give them a certain time period such as 3-5 years to live in this country on a temporary status. If they don't break any laws and prove that they have good employment then let them apply for complete citizenship like the people who come here legally. If industries can prove that jobs can not be filled with the people here then let workers who qualify come in with fool proof id's and have a tracking system that lets our government know where they are working at and if they change jobs know where they go. Have these workers renew their permits every year. Also make sure that these people are paid the same wages as US citizens. Bald Eagle, NM 4/18/08 After watching the debate last nite I would say ABC sure likes Hillary. They gave Barrack some hard questions over and over, but did not do the same to Hillary. It is a shame that a public news outlet can not keep things fair. I hope the public really lets them know it and tells them to straighten up their act, especially in the general debates this fall. Melissa, CO 4/17/08 I think the whole works is a bunch of sxxt. It doesn't matter who gets in because they all are corrupt and they fill their pockets one way or the other and us common folks just keep taking it and grinning because they tell us what we like to hear and do as they damn choose. Peter, TX 4/15/08 I wish the two Democrats would stop fighting each other and turn their attention on what needs to be done to get things improved for us who have to work for a living. Barb, NM 4/12/08 What really does not make good sense is the Democrats are blaming Bush and the Republicans for this recession. Who do you think has had control of Congress for the past 16 months and have done next to nothing in trying to keep the economy going. Matter of fact it has appeared that the Democrats want things to go to hell both at home and in Iraq so they have something to back them up when they say we told you so. Give them the Presidency and we might not make it to the next election. Barrack Obama doesn't have a clue on many things when it comes down to what should be done. He sure talks a nice talk but it already is apparent that he does not walk it. We think things are not going very well now, well how about gas lines for blocks to get $6/gal gas, only 5 gal for a week, supermarkets empty because of truckers not being able to get fuel, electricity for only 12hrs/ day. 9/11 was the result of the Clinton mode of do nothing for 8 years. Can not wait to see what happens when Obama tries to convince Iran that they should be good and not build a nuke to wipe the Jewish people off the face of the earth. Wonder what type of candy he will offer them! Bald Eagle, NM 4/9/08 I believe Sen. clinton is at the end of her running. She is making herself look bad most of the time and at this rate she will not win in PA and that will be the end for her. It remains to be seen if she gets out or will just keep trying to come up with a miracle. Phil, NM 4/7/08 hey, I like the money thown at me, take it away fom the fat cats and giv it to us poor ones. that way we can live like the rest of the folks and not have to bust our buts. yea for hillry and obamma get in and start giving me some of that money. Maggie Pie, GA 4/5/08 I am a registered Democrat but not for long. The mess the party has let things get in and Howard Dean is doing to the party what he did to himself, blowing it and totally letting things get out of control. I voted and now it may not even count here in Florida. I have watched each candidate and John McCain appears to be heads above Clinton and Obama in many fields except of just throwing money at problems. McCain is a man of his word and he means what he says, look at the pork barrel(earmarks) and most of his senate record. I don't believe the word of Clinton means anything except vote for me, Obama does not lay out what he will do except tuck tail out of Iraq and his judgement appears to be not so good in light of the wright thing. Douglas K, FL 4/3/08 I can't wait until this mess is over. all you hear is crap about who said what. Are these people suppose to lead our country? Jamie, PA 3/31/08 All of the old political hacks are starting to side with Barrack Obama so the show may be coming to an end soon. What a shame to mess up a good dog fight, we are talking about dogs are't we? David, CA 3/29/08 I don't think Obama is going to beat Clinton. With all of the dirty tricks the Clinton's have, don't rule them out. They would rather destroy the Democratic Party than lose. They will do anything to win. Jim B., CO 3/29/08 I believe a few of the blanks are starting to be filled in for Obama and some are not good. The man talks a good talk but can we now really believe him. He has not really explain why he stayed in that church and looked up to that radical Rev. Wright and this ties in to his wife's slip up of not being proud to be an American until now just when her husband is trying to be America's new President. Bald Eagle, NM 3/26/08 I have always believed in John McCain. He should have beaten Bush in 2000, but the radical right made sure that he didn't. We would not be in the mess we are today if he had become our president. He knows what war is all about, he had 5 1/2 years to think about it in that prison cell. Sure he agrees that we should not pull out of Iraq until the decent people have control of it, but don't put him in the same box with that pin head Bush. Irene S., MI 3/24/08 Hey, we need a big change, because now the rich keep getting richer and the rest of us poorer. Whoever in the next 6 months can convince me that they are going to represent me and not all of the special interests that throw money at the politicians will get my vote. Poor in NM 3/23/08 |
